| dc.description.resumo | The present work aimed to provide the lay public and beginning academics in Physical Therapy with access to knowledge about the intensive care physical therapist and about the analysis by this professional of the arterial blood gases of the adult patient, since this lay public is dialoguing about the profession more often due to the current COVID-19 pandemic scenario. The bibliographic review for the production of the work had 17 bibliographical references, being from books, electronic journals and scientific articles. The analysis of the arterial blood gases of the adult patient by the physiotherapist is essential for him to be able to adapt his therapeutic conduct, and for this he must understand the normalities, abnormalities and values of its components, concepts, definitions and primary disorders. Based on the work, it was concluded that the intensive care physiotherapist needs to understand in general about arterial blood gases, identifying the abnormalities and understanding what the disorders are, starting from the understanding of their values, in this way, it is clear and easy for lay people and beginning academics to understand. | En |

| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo proporcionar ao público leigo e aos acadêmicos iniciantes na graduação de Fisioterapia o acesso ao conhecimento sobre o fisioterapeuta intensivista e sobre a análise por este profissional realizado da gasometria arterial do paciente adulto, uma vez que este público leigo está a dialogar sobre a profissão com maior frequência devido o atual cenário de pandemia do COVID-19. A revisão bibliográfica para produção do trabalho contou com 17 referências bibliográficas, sendo de livros, periódicos eletrônicos e artigos científicos. A análise da gasometria arterial do paciente adulto pelo fisioterapeuta é primordial para que este consiga adequar suas condutas terapêuticas, e para isto o mesmo deve compreender as normalidades, anormalidades e valores de seus componentes, conceitos, definições e distúrbios primários. Com base no trabalho concluiu-se que o fisioterapeuta intensivista precisa compreender no geral sobre a gasometria arterial, identificando as anormalidades e compreendendo quais são os distúrbios partindo da compreensão de seus valores, desta forma fica clara e fácil a compreensão pelos leigos e acadêmicos iniciantes. | en_US |
