| dc.description.resumo | Oral candidiasis is an infection caused in the mouth, usually in babies, due to their still undeveloped immunity, or in adults with a weakened immune system due to flu, chronic diseases or HIV, for example. This work is a literature review and was carried out based on the problems experienced in clinical cases in the clinical disciplines of undergraduate dentistry. Its general objective was to deepen the subject and the specific objective of treating this condition. The treatment for oral candidiasis should be done with mouthwashes, antifungals and correct oral hygiene, and should be guided by a general practitioner, dentist or pediatrician, in the case of children. | En |

| dc.description.abstract | A candidíase oral é uma infecção causada na boca, geralmente, em bebês, devido a sua imunidade ainda pouco desenvolvida, ou em adultos com o sistema imune enfraquecido devido a gripes, doenças crônicas ou HIV, por exemplo. Este trabalho trata-se de uma revisão de literatura e foi realizado partindo da problemática vivenciada em casos clínicos nas disciplinas clínicas da graduação em odontologia. Teve como objetivo geral o aprofundamento no tema e como objetivo específico o tratamento desta condição. O tratamento para a candidíase oral deve ser feito com enxaguantes bucais, antifúngicos e correta higiene oral, devendo ser orientado por um clínico geral, dentista ou pediatra, no caso das crianças. | en_US |
