dc.description.resumo	Congenital heart disease is an congenital abnormalities in the function or structure of the heart that can happen in 8 to 10 cases in 1,000. This anomaly begins between the third and eighth weeks of pregnancy, when the fetal cardiovascular system is developing. Early diagnosis of CHDs during prenatal care is exceedingly important, as these conditions are among the leading causes of infant mortality. Surgical management of congenital heart diseases whether cyanotic or acyanotic, varies according to severity of the disease. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to presents the importance of physiotherapy both in the pre and postoperative periods of surgeries. This study research is a descriptive literature reviews with the aim of identifying, collecting and analyzing the main contributions or publications referring to the physiotherapeutic performance conducts in pediatric patient with congenital heart disease. To carry out this present research scientific data were collected retrospectively from the following databases: National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), as well as websites of organizations or institutions dedicated to research or to the care of pediatric patients with congenital heart disease. This study was carried out during the months of August 2022 to July 2023. The development of the embryonic cardiovascular system is one of the first system to be formed in the embryo, it begins between the third week of gestation and is one of the complex processes since any interruptions can result in congenital heart defects. Congenital heart disease is one of the most common forms of congenital abnormalities can affect any of these structures' chambers, valves and vessels that originate from the heart. When diagnosed in time, they are treated with medication and surgery. In this way concludes that the physiotherapist is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team that has the capacity to prevent, reverse and minimize possible respiratory dysfunctions and motor sequelae that may arise from surgical procedures in pediatric patients in the different phases of their treatment, that is, from the pre-treatment period surgery until hospital discharge. dc.description.abstract	A doença cardíaca congênita é uma anormalidade na função ou estrutura do coração isso pode acontecer em 8 a 10 casos em 1.000. Essa anomalia se manifesta entre a terceira e oitava semanas de gravidez, quando o sistema cardiovascular fetal está se desenvolvendo. O diagnóstico precoce das DCC durante o pré-natal é de extrema importância, pois essas condições são uma das principais causas de mortalidade infantil. O manejo cirúrgico das cardiopatias congênitas, sejam elas cianóticas ou acianogênicas, varia de acordo com a gravidade da doença. Consequentemente, o objetivo deste estudo é apresentar a importância da fisioterapia, tanto no pré quanto no pós-operatório de cirurgias. O referido estudo trata-se de uma revisão de literatura descritiva bibliográfica com o objetivo de identificar, coletar e analisar as principais contribuições ou publicações referente a atuação fisioterapêutica ao paciente pediátrico cardiopatia congênita. Para a realização deste trabalho foram coletados dados científicos nos seguintes bancos de dados National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO), bem como sites de organizações ou instituições voltadas à pesquisa ou ao atendimento de pacientes pediátrico com cardiopatia congênita. Esta pesquisa foi realizada durante os meses de agosto 2022 a julho de 2023. O sistema cardiovascular é um sistema de comunicação composto por três componentes inter-relacionados: sangue, coração e vasos sanguíneos. É responsável por assegurar a circulação de sangue por todo nosso corpo. O desenvolvimento do sistema cardiovascular embrionário é um dos primeiros a se formar no embrião, começa entre a terceira semana de gestação e é um dos processos complexos pois quaisquer interrupções podem resultar em cardiopatias congênitas. As cardiopatias congênitas é uma das formas mais comuns de anormalidades congênitas, onde afeta as câmaras, as válvulas e os vasos que se originam do coração. Quando diagnosticado a tempo, são tratadas com medicamentos e cirurgias. Assim conclui que o fisioterapeuta é parte integrante da equipe multiprofissional que possui capacidade de prevenir, reverter e minimizar possíveis disfunções respiratórias e sequelas motoras que possam advir de procedimentos cirúrgicos em pacientes pediátricos nas diferentes fases de seu tratamento, ou seja, desde o período pré-operatório até a alta hospitalar.	en_US
